LED lighting, in both structure and principle, differs fundamentally from traditional incandescent bulbs. Diodes are common components in electronic circuits, consisting of a semiconductor PN junction, electrode leads, and packaging.

The PN junction in an LED has two electrodes, hence the name diode. Diodes are unidirectional conductors. There are many types of diodes, such as detector diodes, rectifier diodes, Zener diodes, switching diodes, damping diodes, light-emitting diodes, and photodiodes. The current state of energy-efficient LED bulbs is that LED lighting fixtures primarily use high-power white light LED single lamps. LED lighting is a general term for LED illumination. With the further maturation of LED technology, LEDs will achieve more and better development in the design and development fields of bedroom lighting. In the 21st century, bedroom lighting design will be dominated by LED light bulbs, while fully embodying the development trend of energy-saving, healthy, artistic, and humanized lighting, becoming the leader in bedroom lighting culture.

Traditional incandescent bulbs (tungsten filament bulbs) are energy-intensive and short-lived. In the context of global resource scarcity, they have been gradually phased out worldwide. Energy-saving electronic bulbs were introduced as a replacement. While electronic energy-saving bulbs improved energy efficiency, they use many heavy metals that pollute the environment, contradicting the broader trend towards environmental protection. With the rapid development of LED technology, LED lighting is gradually becoming a good choice for new green lighting. LEDs are far superior to traditional lighting products in terms of light emission principles and energy efficiency and environmental protection.

Incandescent bulbs and energy-saving electronic bulbs still account for a very high proportion of people's daily use. To reduce waste, LED manufacturers must develop LED lighting products that meet existing interfaces and people's usage habits, allowing people to use the new generation of LED lighting products without changing the existing traditional lamp holders and circuits. Thus, LED bulb lamps were developed.

LED lighting uses existing interface methods, namely screw bases (E26, E27, E14, etc.) and sockets (B22, etc.), and even mimics the shape of incandescent bulbs to conform to people's usage habits. Based on the principle of unidirectional LED lighting, designers have made some changes to the structure of the lamp, so that the light distribution curve of the LED bulb is basically the same as that of the incandescent bulb.

Undoubtedly, the relationship between light and people is an eternal topic. "People see light, I see light." It is this classic phrase that has changed countless designers' understanding of light. The high level of LED lighting is the "shadowless lamp," which is also a high manifestation of humanized lighting. There are no traces of common lamps indoors, allowing people to feel the light but not find the light source, reflecting the humanized design of the perfect combination of light and human life.
